No candidate is placed with any client until all 12 checks are complete, verified and documented. No exceptions.

NMC, HCPC, SWE, GTC or QTS — verified live on the regulator's database on the day of placement

Enhanced DBS certificate
Enhanced DBS with relevant barred list check — date-checked and updated if approaching expiry
3️⃣
Right to Work in the UK
Home Office-compliant RTW check with document verification — digital record retained
4️⃣
Professional references
Minimum two professional references, including most recent employer — verified directly, not by candidate
5️⃣
Occupational health clearance
Fitness to practice and immunisation status — including Hepatitis B for clinical roles
6️⃣
Mandatory training verification
Moving and handling, infection control, safeguarding, fire safety — all verified in date
7️⃣
Safeguarding training
Level 2 minimum (Level 3 for leadership roles) — sector-appropriate and current
8️⃣
Identity verification
Passport, photo ID and proof of address — verified in person or via approved digital ID service
9️⃣
Address history (5 years)
Required for enhanced DBS and IR35 assessments — documented and retained
